H. Clayton Peterson is a native of Kansas who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Accounting from Kansas State University in 1967. He received a Bronze Star while serving in the United States Army First Air Cavalry in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969.
During a 33 year career with Arthur Anderson, he was Managing Partner of the Denver office for 13 years, Regional Managing Partner of the audit practices of Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Dallas offices, and served on various management committees.
Peterson is a member of the Board of Directors for Mariner Energy Company, a NYSE Houston-based oil & gas exploration company. He also serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee and sits on the Executive Committee for the Mariner Energy Board.
Peterson, who lives in Denver, Colorado, is an avid golfer and snow skier.
